The SpeedEye2 utilizes the type approved SL700 laser speed meter to provide a portable camera enforcement system.
Developed and produced exclusively by Unipar, the system uses laser technology and an advanced day/night camera to produce separate bursts of digital video footage of each offending Vehicle, overlaid with its speed, range, time, date location and operator ID. The video images captured are stored onto a standard SD card in a secure format.
The system has been designed with portability in mind and can be unpacked and deployed within a matter of minutes. This allows the operator to transport the system to various locations quickly and easily and if there is an emergency elsewhere, the entire system can be packed away or stored temporarily within seconds. When not in use the whole system will fit neatly into a single reinforced carry case for transportation.
Because the SpeedEye2 only captures short bursts of video of individual vehicles, which have exceeded the operators pre-set speed threshold, all of the events stored are 100% speeding offences, which can be accessed quickly and easily using the Unipar images retrieval software provided at no extra cost. This eliminates the time consuming and costly need to search through hours of video making Speeye2 a truly versatile speed enforcement tool.
Optional extras such as GPS coordinates and audio are also available.
